1- Can you summarize the book in two minutes?
Is the story about Bud Corliss, who is Dorothy boyfriend in the first chapter, happened that Bud only wanted stay with Dorothy for her father’s money, because in summer, they get married and he can obtain the money of his girlfriend father.
The trouble that success in this chapter was that Dorothy was pregnant, and for this reason, they must get married immediately, but he knew that if Dorothy father heard about this, he don’t give his money, for this he thought hard about a plan for killing her and the people must think that she killed herself.
In second chapter, Dorothy’s sister, Ellen, she knows that her sister didn’t kill herself, but a murderer, and for this she decided went to her sister School for investigated.
For her way by train, destination to Dorothy school, she wrote a letter for her boyfriend, and she told he that she went to there to investigate Dorothy death.
When she found out all the truth, her boyfriend, who was Dorothy ex-boyfriend and her killer, turned and killed Ellen and a boy who helped she with her investigation about Dorothy death.
Finally, in third chapter, Bud thought that he didn’t have good luck about Ellen and Dorothy and he had fear that her life won’t be solved. After a while, he thought hard, and he knows that there is one sister more, Marion, and he went to New York City to search her. He seduced her; obtained her love and they started a relationship. Few days later, they organized their wedding, but for these days, Marion father was gave some bad news about Bud, for example, that he only wanted get married to her daughter for his money, and also was give that Bud was a Dorothy and Ellen killer.
The ending of the story is that the father with Gant, someone that he gives the information about Bud, they get that Bud confess his murderers, and he killed herself in the smelting works.

2- Is there a mystery sentence or a turning point in the story?

Yes, I think that the turning point was when Bud Corliss, the main character, thought about killed her girlfriend.

3- When and where does the story take place?

In 1950 and 1951. The story place in Blue River (the most important places are: Stoddard University and The Municipal Building) and in New York (the most important place are The Smelting works.

4- Who are the main characters in the story? What’s their role?

The main character is Bud Corliss, the murder, because he killed Dorothy and later her sister Ellen, because he discovered the truth about Dorothy death.

5- Choose one character( main or secondary) and describe him/her.

Ellen: She is my favourite character because she is very stubborn about descovered her sister death, she is blond, pretty, and very similar with her sister Dorothy. Also she like modern novelist and she is very intelligent to discovered the truth.

6- Can you identify with any character? Why?

Only with Ellen with her stubborn character, no more.

7- Choose your favourite moment in the story.

My favourite moment was when I discovered, in the beginning, that Bud wanted to kill Dorothy, I didn’t imagine that he was a bad person.

8- What new words or expressions have you learnt reading this story?

All words and expressions, for example: brochures (fullets), storeroom (magatzem), allowed (permetre), amound (poca informació), story (pis), purse (bolso), iron (ferro), attorney (advocat),upset (disgusada), cared (preocupat), fault (culpa), etc.

9- Provide an alternative ending.

I can imagine an other ending, for example, that Bud Corliss didn’t kill herself and he must go to the prison.

10-Would you recommend this book? Why?

Yes, I want recommened this book for people who like intrigue and love. But, sincerely I had a different think about this book, I thought about absolute love, not intrigue, but well, its OK.

Risto Mejide

He's name is Risto Mejide, he works in OT programe TV and he's a member in the OT commitee for the evaluation all of competitors.
He was new in this programme last year, and he became famous for his bad mood.
In this moment, he's very popular in Spain, and he become more bad with the OT competitors.
In my opinion, last year the programme was okay, but now it's a show, I think that the OT producers pay he a lot of money to act in this way, he exaggerates soo mach.
In the other hand, I think that it's good his bad mood in the show because when one of the competitors sings very well, Risto says he the trusth, he's very honest.
Well, to finish this publication, I want to say that I wouldn't to take part of OT TV programme, because I'm scared to Risto evaluations, and I wouldn't cry in the TV and in front of all Spain to his fault.

Kate and leopold*

Well, I want to put a summary about this film, because I had remembered that last year, in English class, we saw this film, and I like it :)

Movie begins when a journalist, Stuart, of our time made photos in XIX century and Duke of Albany, Leopold, saw he, and he follow the journalist as far as bridge, after, they desappear in ours contemporary time.
Kate Mckay is a modern executive and her work is made to prevail in the enterprise world, she lives in XXI century.
They arrived in Stuart’s house, Kate listen a strange sound, and she spy they.
In the morning, Stuart go out and he fall for the lift, for this reason, he go to the hospital.
Then, Kate meets Leopold and she brings he in her job for do an advert. They fall in love, but they love is difficult because they aren’t the same time. In addition The Duke of Albany must to retorn in his time.
When Stuart goes in the hospital, he and Kate’s brother help this difficult love, they bring Kate on the bridge and she go to the XIX century with Leopold.

A little history*

One day in last year, Elisenda and I, when the bus arrived at the stop, we were going to Elisenda’s house. When we were in her house, while we were doing the homework, suddenly I heard a bang. The bang came from the flat above.
Elisenda was lauthing a lot, and at first I took very quickly a knife of the kitchen, for if there was somebody in the house.
Later, I went to the flat above slowly, and I was holding a knife.
When Elisenda saw me, that I was going to flat above, she took a camara and while she was recording, she was collowing me.
Eventually, when we arrived on the second flat, we saw that the bang was caused by Elisenda’s cat. Elisenda’s cats scare a lot.

The evil eye :S

To years ago, I stayed with my friends in Figueres, because we bought a present to our teacher.
When we had the present, we sat down in the square, “Font lluminosa”.
I sat next to Laia, when we saw an ugly woman, she was a gypsy. She had the hair dyed with red and black. She had a horrible make-up and was wearing horribles dresses.
Laia and I were laugthing a lot, we don’t normally laught at people, but this woman was very ridiculous.
The woman was looking to us, when we laughted and she was casting a spell.
Eventually, when our parents went to fetch us, on the road, in the route by car we had a little accident :S

Now, we are more carefull about strange people!

Do you belive in ghost?

Well...now I want to talk about last summer,when I went to Neus’s house to sleep an incident with spirits happened to us.
When we finished watching the horror film, we went to sleep very frightened.
At 5 o’clock, Neus was waking up, because she heard a strong shaking in the bed, she thought it was me, but she was looking to me, when she saw a terrible spirit. She was running very quickly to the baddrom, when suddenly she found me.
While we were speaking, the spirit was inside in the bathroom, and we were running around the house but the spirit was following us.
Finaly, when we phoned the police, the spirit disappeared, but this day, the spirit didn’t disappear.

Lol, you now that this story are fals, but a similar accident was happened to us whith spirits, and now Neus and me belive in their a lot, but we prefer not remember this, because it's very terrible :S
